Long Lunch At Windowrie

15 October, 2014 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

NeilaWindowrie_2014_web_bannerFolks at Windowrie like to share their passion for wine and fine food, so once again they have teamed up with Neila for a Long Lunch on Saturday 25th of October. A pop-up style restaurant with a set 3 course menu, matched with the award winning wines from Windowrie – including this year’s Organic Wine of The Year. Combine this with the stunning alfresco setting of the Windowrie Homestead Gardens and the musical talent of Simone Thornett and Ollie Statham, it’s an event that you don’t want to miss.
This is the fifth year the dynamic duo Neila and Windowrie have blended their talents and knowledge of local wines and food to create a sell-out event. “It’s just a great time of year to get together with friends and indulge in some of the delicious local food – I don’t know how they do it, but Anna and Jerry from Neila really nail it every year!” said Nook O’Dea.
Windowrie were one of the pioneering vineyards of the local wine region, and have been producing wine for over 25 years and this year are celebrating 10 years of the Pig In The House organic wine label. Transport to and from the event can be arranged from either Cowra or Canowindra . For more information or bookings go to www.windowrie.com.au or give Nook a call 0414 513 599
