I would like to thank the members of the Canowindra knitting group for the excellent work they have produced this year.
Counting back over our meetings we have managed to send 76 rugs to Orange. From there they are sent to Sydney where they find their way to those that need them in Australia and overseas. With wars, floods, and fires they are much appreciated. We are only a small group but thanks to Tommy Jeffs we enjoy our fourth Thursday morning in each month, knitting, having morning tea and enjoying the company of other knitters.
We have one more meeting on 28th November before taking a break over December and January. I hope that 2025 will be as good as this year has been and that maybe
a few more will join us and we can reach 100 rugs. Please consider joining us as everyone of us has great satisfaction when we see our squares sewn together to make warm colourful rugs that we know will go to someone who needs it.
Hope to see you at our last meeting of the year. Thanks again to all those who have donated time and wool.
