Woodbridge Cup 2026 Grand Final

2 September, 2026 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

The Cowra Magpies put on a wonderful day last weekend for the Woodbridge Cup 2026 Grand Final, to all clubs and supporters who attended thank you for a wonderful atmosphere you all provided.

The results of the day were as follows:

Youth League Cowra Magpies 42 v Oberon Tigers 8.Do not let the score line fool you on this one. It was a hard fought game. Both teams showed up and had some really big hits and both left nothing in the tank. Grand Final Player was Nate Gunn – Cowra Magpies

League Tag Cargo Blue Heelers 14 v Manildra Rhinos 12. One of the best grand final league tag matches in a while, this came right down to the last few minutes of the game. Both sides should be extremely proud. Grand Final Player was Adelaide Pittis.

First Grade Oberon Tigers 24 v Blayney Bears 14. The Tigers went out in front at the half time break, Blayney took the field in the second half determined to come back and with a couple of quick tries early on they were hot on the tails of the Tigers. The Tigers held on and scoring late in the game to seal the win. Grand Final Player was Ryan Jarvis.

On behalf of the Woodbridge Cup committee we would like to thank you all for an amazing 2026 season. Enjoy this much needed rest and start preparing for an even better 2027 season.
