Round 3
Cowra beat Canowindra 3-1 with an awesome try by Molly Grant. Then some Canowindra ladies backed up and played other games for other teams, great sportsmanship by the ladies. In the second game the girls had a good run against Orange Emus with some great tackles but their breakaways were just too fast.
Thank you to Jack Beath, Adam Nash and Rob Burn for marking the field, Alex and Stuart Gavin for stocking the Ute bar and Lauren and Jack for setting up the field. Once again thanks to the manager Geoff and water boy Mick. It was lovely to see lots of spectators and we thank you for coming to watch some great games of rugby.
Unfortunately during the Bathurst Bulldogs and Orange City game there was a serious injury with a young player. Our best wishes are with Orange City at this time. And we thank the paramedics and the helicopter for their service.
This Friday the ladies travel to Bathurst to take on Bathurst Bulldogs and Orange City.
