Five of Canowindra’s women’s golf members travelled to Bathurst last month to play pennants. Although they lost two to three, they have won the first round six to four. Congratulations and well done!
Wednesday, 23 June, the ladies played their veterans championship and third monthly medal. Division one winner was Eileen Wilson with gross 97. Division two winner was Ros Partridge with gross 101. Nett winner was Helen Kemper with nett 32. Division three winner was Maureen Lawrence with gross 117. Nett winner was Helen Constable with nett 26. Senior winners were Edna Hughes gross 130 and nett Ann Cassidy 20.

Wednesday, 30 June, the ladies played WDLGA 4BBB v par. Winners were Eileen Wilson and Lorrae Barker with plus two. They also played a par event which had been previously postponed. The winner was Helen Kemper with minus two.
