Results of the matches played on Tuesday 11th April. Major singles Quarter Finals: Deanna Noble defeated Colleen Crump 23 -25 and Marion Wilson lost her match against Gwen Haydon. Thank you to the markers Betty Jenkins and Libby Balcombe.

Social Matches: Pauline Carroll, Radka Tatterson, Daph Bryant and Dianne Mooney defeated Leanne Stevenson (playing Lead and Second Positions) Di Slattery and Mar- garet Gosper 14-6. Ellen Petty and Jill Mes- senger defeated Jo Davies and Nancy Mor- row 20-17

Results of the District Singles played at Parkes from Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th April. Well done to Colleen Crump who was runner up to Pat Cooney from Parkes in the final 25-17. Gwen Haydon and Deanna No- ble competed in the second tier of the com- petition for the Gwynn Rice Trophy. Deanna was defeated in the semi-final and Gwen won the trophy defeating Robyn Morgan of Parkes in the final. Congratulations Gwen.

All Bowlers please note the time change from Tuesday 18th April – 9.30am for a 10 am match start. There will be no Bowls on Anzac Day and play for that week will move to Thursday. Birthday wishes to Marion Wil- son who celebrates her day this week.

This Friday night April 21, a balloon flight proudly donated by Balloon Joy Flights will be raffled together with a hamper of goodies valued at $200. Tickets can be purchased at Belubula Butchery, Central Motors and the Canowindra Bowling Club. Tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. The monster raffle will also be drawn this Friday night.

Saturday April 22- Major singles- V Mirto V J Preston, Marker M Baldwin. Minor singles semi final- S Kirkman V P Kennedy, Marker N Delaney.

Sunday April 23- Minor singles semi final- K Perry V J Preston, Marker I Nelder.

Wednesday badge draw is $100 and Fri- day badge draw is $300. Bingo this Thursday 11am.

Results of two matches played on Tuesday 18th April.

Major Singles Semi Finals: Margaret Gosper defeated Deanna Noble 25-21.

Libby Balcombe defeated Gwen Haydon 25-21. Thanks to the markers Colleen Crump & Nancy Morrow. The Final will now be played between Margaret Gosper & Libby Balcombe.

There were two games of social bowls played, one fours and one triples.

Jeanette Wheeldon, Jeanette Wheeldon Joice McNaught & Sheryn O’Malveney de- feated Betty Jenkins, Bobbie Turner, Linda Miller & Ellen Petty 13-11. Jeanette played lead and second.

Daph Bryant, Leanne Stevenson & Sandy McDonald defeated Shirley Robson, Jean Roth & Christine Pickard 19-16.

The Lucky Draw was won by Gwen Haydon with No. 20.

Joyce Middleton won the March Points Score. Well done Joyce!

Many thanks to the ladies who worked on the rosters for Driver Reviver on Saturday 15th from 8am to 12 noon and Sunday 16th from 5pm to 7 pm. The travellers do appreci- ate being able to stop and rest with a cuppa.

Congratulations to Bob & Shirley Robson who celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on 19th April.
