The Final of the Rose Bowl Handicap Singles was played on Thursday, 14th November. Colleen Crump defeated Christine Pickard. Congratulations Colleen the Rose Bowl Handicap Winner for 2019. Thanks to the Marker Jill Messenger.
Two social games were played on Tuesday, 19th November. Radka Tatterson, Jill Messenger and Sheryn O’Malveney defeated Julie Wythes, Linda Miller and Dianne Mooney/Nancy Morrow 13-8. Jeanette Wheeldon, Lorne Burgess and Joyce Middleton defeated Joice McNaught, Moyna Rue and Jenny Middleton 13-7. The Lucky Draw was won by Lorne Burgess with No. 4.
The October Points Score was won by Colleen Crump and Joice McNaught.
Four of our members celebrated birthdays this month Pauline Carroll, Liz Thorn- berry, Moyna Rue and Colleen Crump. A very happy birthday to you all.
There will be no bowls played on Tuesday, 26th November as the bowlers are going on a Mystery Bus Trip, which should be interesting and enjoyable.
The Shirley Robson sponsored bowls day is now being held on Tuesday, 3rd December not the 19th as previously notified and bowlers please wear mufti, uniforms are not necessary.
