Results of three matches in the 3rd round of the Consistency played on Tuesday, 17th September. Gwen Haydon defeated Daph Bryant 154-146. Deanna Noble defeated Christine Pickard 152-148. Dianne Mooney defeated Penny Nash 152-148. Thanks to the Markers Liz Thornberry, Sheryn O’Malveney and Colleen Crump. Sandy McDonald defeated Karen Cox 14-12 in a roll up.
Ten of our bowlers played Carpet Bowls due to the inclement weather. The Red team of Bobbie Turner, Libby Balcombe, Jeanette Wheeldon, Linda Miller and Nancy Morrow defeated the Black team of Diane Slattery, Shirley Robson, Leanne Stevenson, Joice McNaught and Jenny Middleton 8-6.
The Lucky Draw was won by Liz Thornberry with No. 30.
The points score for August was won by Penny Nash.
23 of our members enjoyed a very tasty lunch at the Golf Club to celebrate the September birthdays of Betty Jenkins, Radka Tatterson, Linda Miller and Sheryn O’Malveney.
