The Canowindra Senior Fours team of Jill Messenger, Colleen Crump, Libby Balcombe and Jo Davies who competed in the Districts Senior Fours played at the Orange City Club on Tuesday, 23rd July and were defeated by Mudgee in the 1st round. The Senior fours was won by Dubbo City Club.
Due to Canowindra winning the No. 2 District Pennant held earlier this year, Canowindra has been upgraded to the No. 1 Pennant for 2020.
Three matches were played in the 1st round of the Handicap Pairs on Tuesday, 30th July. Radka Tatterson and Liz Thornberry defeated Diane Slattery and Jill Messenger 19-15. Leanne Stevenson and Dianne Mooney defeated Lorne Burgess and Jenny Middleton 19-15. Joyce Middleton and Nancy Morrow defeated Linda Miller and Colleen Crump 17-13.
There was one social game played. Julie Wythes, Joice McNaught and Christine Pickard defeated Daph Bryant, Moyna Rue, Jeanette Wheeldon and Betty Jenkins 15- 14. The Lucky Draw was won by Nancy Morrow with No. 9.
