Results of two matches played on Tuesday, 13th June. Club Fours Championship: Shirley Robson, Daph Bryant, Christine Pickard and Gwen Haydon defeated Nancy Morrow, Moyna Rue, Dianne Mooney and Deanna Noble 25-10.
Jenny Middleton, Ellen Petty, Libby Balcombe and Colleen Crump defeated Joyce Middleton, Joice McNaught and Jo Davies 18-17. They were 17 all on the 21st end and were required to play an extra end, which Colleen Crump’s team scored 1 shot and won. What a great close match!
The Final between Colleen’s and Gwen’s team will be played on Thursday the 15th.
There were two social games: Peggy Beath and Jeanette Wheeldon defeated Linda Miller & Radka Tatterson 15-14.
Bobbie Turner and Penny Nash defeated Leanne Stevenson and Sandy McDonald 20-11. The Lucky Draw was won by Nancy Morrow with No. 21.
