Women’s Bowls

One Major singles game was played on Tuesday 8 July, in which Deanna Noble de­feated Sharon Wynn 27 -19.

Two social games were also played. In the first game, Joyce Boland, Sue Slattery, playing 2 positions Libby Balcombe defeat­ed Margaret Trelford, Karen Cox, Jeanette Wheeldon and Kris Cann 15-20. In the sec­ond game Moyna Rue, Jenny McClintock, Cierwen Jones, Sandy McDonald defeated Betty Jenkins, Gwen Hayden, Leanne Ste­venson and Kathy Nelson 23-7.
