Women’s Bowls

The final of the Major Singles was played on Tuesday 11th June. Gwen Haydon de­feated Libby Balcombe 25-4. Well done ladies.

Two social games were also played.

Jill Messenger, Sharon Wynn, Jenny Mid­dleton and Di Mooney defeated Cierwen Jones, Moyna Rue, Joyce Boland and Sandy McDonald 19- 13.

Betty Jenkins playing 2 positions, Joice McNaught and Deanna Noble defeated Daph Bryant, Liz Thornberry, Nancy Mor­row and Jeanette Wheeldon 22- 12.
