Three games of Social Triples were played on 30th May. In the first game, Joyce Boland played 2 positions alongside Penny Nash, defeating Daphne Bryant, Sandy McDonald and Liz Thornberry, 17-14. In the next game, Sharon Wynn, Gwen Haydon and Julie Wythes defeated Moyna Rue, Deanna Noble and Christine Pickard, 14-12. Lastly, Jeanette Wheeldon and Libby Balcombe defeated C. JONES, and Joice McNaught, 31- 8.
Semi Finals of the Major Pairs were also played between Betty Jenkins and Dianne Mooney who defeated Leanne Stevenson and Di Slattery, 23-11. It was a great game, well done ladies.
The final of the Major Singles will be played next Tuesday. Di Mooney and Betty Jenkins will play Julie Wythes and Libby Balcombe.
Coaching for all interested female bowlers will be next Tuesday, 6th June at 1pm.
