What! Can’t buy coffee!
Spare a thought for the guys up the poles in the freezing weather, wet, windy weather.
Then there were the good old days when we had no electricity.
Candles, kerosene lamps, fuel stove and open fires. No fridges, only a hessian covered meat safe or ice chest where ice was delivered once a week. We had a copper for heating water and for washing clothes and bathing in. No sewerage, gravel roads, and old cars.
And guess what! Everyone survived. And yes, we had coffee too.
We’re so lucky now.
