Five girls from Canowindra High School trialled for the Western Area Girls Rugby League teams last week. Adi-son Newcombe and Sienna Adams trialled in the Under 16’s Division. Kirbie Mongan, Holly Wilson, Lila McCaffery represented Canowindra in the Under 18’s.
Last Wednesday, 20th March, five students from Canowindra High School trialled in Narromine for the Western Area Girls Rugby League teams. The girls were placed into teams and demonstrated their skills with and without the ball in a variety of positions.
Congratulations to Adison Newcombe (Centre), Kirbie Mongan (Fullback), Holly Wilson (Centre) and Lila McCaffery (Centre) who have been chosen to represent Western at the Greater Regional trials in May.
