Congratulations to 2021 School Captain of Canowindra High School Claire Wright, who received not one but two awards of recognition on Australia Day this year in Canowindra.
Claire was the very deserving recipient of the Canowindra Young Citizen of The Year Award and the Cabonne Youth Ambassador Award on Australia Day.
Claire has already achieved so much, she was selected to participate in the National Youth Forum in Canberra, she was also one of ten students accepted into the TEN4TEN Programme in 2021 as well as being selected to represent the Central West as a Rural Youth Ambassador.
Now that Claire has finished her HSC, Claire would like to study Science with the aim to help farmers with sustainability practices on their land.
We have no doubt that Claire will go on to do amazing things in the future!
