Wedding Bells

Last Saturday, 8th October, surrounded by family and friends, Jacob Devlin married Maddison Kelly in beautiful country style, farm wedding at “Rojahnah” near Woodstock.

Not the incessant rain, nor even a last minute venue change for the ceremony, when the original hilltop site became inaccesible, could dampen spirits.

Maddi looked absolutely stunning in a full length lace, mermaid style dress. She was accompanied by bridesmaids Brittney Kelly from Orange and Caitlin Curtis from Cowra, who wore lovely sage green, full length dresses. The girls choice of cowgirl boots were in hindsight, a solid decision to help them navigate the mud and puddles on the day.

Jake was accompanied by mates Nick Traves and Craig Carpenter, both from Canowindra, along with his nephew Mason Kelly as pageboy.

By far, the proudest person on the day was Jake and Maddi’s four year old daughter Eliza Devlin. Eliza was an adorable flower girl in a white lace dress and cowgirl boots to match her mum’s.

The reception was held in the grain shed on the property, which was transormed with hay bales and fairy lights into a magical space. By far though, the feature of the reception space was the two John Deere S680 Headers framing the dance floor. Guest partied late into the night as the rain continued to fall. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Devlin!

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Devlin.

Sealed with a kiss.

Maddi, Eliza and Jake Devlin.
