We Need Your Help!

28 May, 2014 By editor

The ‘Log Cabin’ in Gooloogong is one of only two log cabins in Australia, and this special hall is in need of some restoration. The Log Cabin Committee need your support to help undertake the work. The restoration work will take place in stages, with the first being the replacement of the roof which is estimated at $60,000, of which the committee have already raised $20,000. The Esky Ball being held next month will aid in the fundraising which is why it is important for everyone to come along and support the Gooloogong community. Buses will be running from Cowra, Canowindra, Forbes, Grenfell and Eugowra. We are encouraging as many people as possible to attend, with over 200 expected. There are businesses from Cowra, Canowindra, Forbes, Eugowra and Grenfell on board with sponsorship to ensure the Esky Ball is a success and so future generations can also enjoy the Log Cabin.
