Cooper Williams is a talented young rugby player from Canowindra, who was selected for the NSW Waratahs Under-16s squad in 2025, representing the Canowindra Pythons and St Stanislaus College.
Cooper has been recognised for his skill, character, and significant contributions to the team, with notable accomplishments including scoring a try in their victory against Victoria and being named number 7 to play in the Super Rugby Grand Final against the Queensland Reds U16s.
The NSW Waratahs defeated the Queensland Reds 57–34 at Knox Grammar School last Sunday 2 November to claim their fourth-straight Super Rugby U16 championship after an undefeated season.
Williams is a homegrown talent, and his selection for the Waratahs U16s squad is considered a significant milestone and a stepping stone in his budding career.
