To the Editor,
I have been visiting friends in Canowindra for two weeks. While the town has a lot to offer, with notable exception, Gaskill Street is dismal.
Most buildings are in desperate need of painting and proper verandah covers – one building has been like this for over two years I am told. Not looking good!
For a town expecting a lot of visitors next month, it seems your council has no interest in footpaths, gutters, and general maintenance.
Lucky someone has enough confidence in the town to build a new service station, which is looking very good.
