So far in my 6 week journey around Europe my travels have led me from Australia to London, France, Switzerland and Italy. I wasn’t in London long before I had to jump on the Ferry and cross the English Channel to France. Paris was definitely how I imagined and I got to experience the amazing monuments that make Paris so famous, including the Eiffel Tower.
Next we headed to Lucerne in Switzerland, home of captivating scenery, cows with bells, cheese and chocolate. I enjoyed a Swiss lunch where we were entertained by horn blowing and yodelling! The bad weather prevented us from climbing Mount Pilatus.
We then visited the South of France to visit the French Riviera and Monaco. I was lucky enough to swim in the Mediterranean Sea and visit Monte Carlo Casino where high rollers had their Rolls Royce’s parked right out the front.
We moved on to Italy where we are now visiting Florence, Rome and Venice. I love Italian food and on our first evening we enjoyed a Tuscan themed night with homemade ravioli and an Italian singing and dancing, just like what you see in the movies.
After Italy we will visit Tyrol, Prague and Amsterdam before departing to Greece, and so far this journey of a lifetime has taken me to places where I’ll probably never go again, but I will never forget.
