We caught the metro into the city of Rome, Italy where we saw architecture that the Romans built thousands of years ago. The majority of old monuments were covered in scaffolding which was a shame. What we lost in aesthetics we made up for in weather, our first real hot day that reminded me of the summers back home. We then visited Venice, home of gondolas and bridges where I witnessed the streets flooding first hand! Italy was amazing and so was their risottos, gnocchi and pastas! We said goodbye and welcomed Austria where we went white water rafting. The water was freezing but it was so much fun. Our next stop was Munich, Germany, home of the best beer in the world. We enjoyed a bike tour and rode past the nudist park where everyone was literally letting it all hang out. We then stopped in Prague, heading to an ice bars that was set at -10 degrees! I am now at the end of my Europe tour and have started my Greece tour, stay tuned for part 3!
