This year’s National Ag Day theme is Our Farmers, Our Future and it’s built on a simple idea: agriculture isn’t a sector on the sidelines, it’s part of everyone’s life, every day. Food security, regional communities, the environment – and farmers sit at the centre of it all.
The Ag Day Photo Competition is a way to showcase our industry in pictures, rather than stats. So it’s time to dust off the camera and start scouting your best angles, your paddocks, your livestock, all of it! From golden paddocks to kelpie puppies, muddy boots to amazing machinery, we want to see what farming life means to you.
Thanks to the support of Syngenta, there’s $5,000 up for grabs this year, including $2,000 for first place.
This year there is a new People’s Choice segment, and also a dedicated video category. Start submitting your photos now at www.agday.org.au/photography-video-competition Entries close on Ag Day, Friday 20 November at 5pm. People’s Choice voting will take place on Friday 27 November via NFF social media channels. Winners will be announced Friday 5 December.
