There Are So Many Sections To Enter At The Show

Canowindra Show is on 27th and 28th Sep­tember and the Ladies Auxiliary in the Cob­ley Pavilion have excellent sections to enter.

Section T Cut Flowers: two exhibits in each class, exhibits grown by exhibitor, cut flow­ers presented in unmarked jars or bottles no vases. Deco­rative Flowers by Ages 9 to 12 YEARS: Anyarrangement in Egg Cup, Arrangement in small Kitchen Utensil, Arrangement depict­ing a Nursery Rhyme, Arrangement in a Basket. Decorative Flowers By Year 7 to Year 12: Arrangement in a Jug. Decorative Flowers by Ages 5 to 8 YEARS: Arrange­ment for a Cubby House, Decorative Sau­cer. Section U Fine Arts: Work to have been completed within the last 12 months prior to Show. No copies or wet paintings. Exhibits must be mounted and ready to be hung with name, etc on the back, Categories include: LOCAL (within 25kms radius of Post Office): Black & White and Oil/Acrylic/Pastel/Water Colour and Any other Medium: Portrait, Land­scape/Seascape, Animal/Bird/Fish, Flower/ Plant/Tree, Still Life, Building/Bridge/Struc­ture, Miscellaneous/Abstract, Novice. Also Novice Colour, 12 years and under any me­dium any subject 25 years &under any me­dium any subject any other material. OPEN: any medium, 70years & over any medium, recycled or any other material, Portrait, Land­scape/Seascape, Animal/Bird/Fish, Flower/ Plant/Tree, Still Life, Miscellaneous, Black & White any subject, 25yrs & under any medi­um/subject, 12yrs & under any medium/sub­ject, Any subject/med. using mechanical or graphic device on art work, Any subject/me­dium using fiber eg: bark, felt, silk, leaves, wool, hair, Folk Art any medium/subject, Any other art medium/subject. 3D OPEN: Recy­cled any material art 3D painted object.

Section Ua Photography: Amateur Photo­graphs only, All photographs to be mounted on BLACK cardboard only, with a 12mm bor­der exhibits must have name on back, A4 maximum size, framed photos won’t be ac­cepted, maximum of 4 entries per person per categories. Novice is one who has not won in the Canowindra PA&H Show Photography section. DIGITAL Categories — Photos NOT to be altered after taken. Categories include Black & White: Portrait, Baby photo under 2 yrs, Child Study, Landscape/Seascape, Animal/Bird, Still Life, Miscellaneous.
