Early photograph of “Goimbla” homestead, the site of the shooting of bushranger Johnny O’Meally (a member of Ben Hall’s gang) by squatter David Campbell in 1863.

The old blacksmith’s shop, which would have been situated behind the Central Hotel and the museum on Grevillea Ave. Photograph supplied by Allan Sutton.

All aboard! Nothing is known about this early and rare photograph of Cobb and Co. at Eugowra. It is included in the book Old Eugowra by E C Allen, a novel interwoven with some local history. The coach certainly looks loaded! They were licenced to carry up to 17 people.
