12 November, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Colin Buchanan and Raechel Whitchurch

Stemming from an unlikely friendship that formed out of a love of great song writing, Colin Buchanan and Raechel Whitchurch have decided to hit the road together to perform in Canowindra on Saturday 21st November 2020.

Colin a former resident of Canowindra and Raechel from nearby Parkes are excited to be playing back in the Central West.

Colin and Raechel will be performing songs from each of their country releases, while sharing the stories behind the songs.

Colin Buchanan’s remarkable career embraces country music, children’s TV and song collaboration. He’s a winner of ARIA, APRA and Golden Guitar awards, Australia’s #1 kids Christian artist and beloved ABC TV Play School presenter.

Raechel Whitchurch’s new single ‘My Father’, released in July 2020, appeared on four major Spotify playlists, gaining over 100,000 streams, and at time of writing is #9 on the Music Network Country Airplay chart.

Joining them on the night will also be Ben Whitchurch, Raechel’s multi-instrumentalist husband, who will perform alongside each artist.

The doors will open at Canowindra Services Club for the concert on Saturday 21st November at 7pm with Adult tickets being $30 and Children $15 and are available from www.colinbuchanan.com.au and www.raechelwhitchurch.com Tickets are extremely limited due to Covid-19 government restrictions, all events will be covid-safe.
