The Old Vic Inn Turns 150

4 November, 2015 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

The Old Vic Inn has once again been named as a finalist in the NSW Tourism
Awards after their roaring success with the Inland Tourism Awards. “We’re proud to be from Canowindra and to take our name to state things like this,” said Alison.

“It helps to promote Canowindra,” said Graeme, “so everybody benefits if more people hear about it.” The Old Vic Inn is a finalist in the Standard Accommodation category, but this is nothing new to the Beasleys after they won the prestigious award in 2008.

“We’ve done it before and we know how tough it is,” said Graeme. The NSW Tourism Awards celebrate and acknowledge tourism businesses that have demonstrated outstanding achievement and success throughout the year.

In the lead up to the Awards night, The Old Vic Inn will be hosting a 150 Year Birthday Dinner on Saturday 21 November with food reflecting the colonial times and in true pub spirit, the first shout is on them. With limited numbers, bookings are essential so call 6344 1009 to secure your spot!
