Canowindra locals Kobie Rogers and Ken Willson walked on Day 2 and 3 from Canowindra to Grenfell.
The annual Cargo 2 Grenfell walk took place last week with the full three-day event living up to the hype of previous years. The Cargo 2 Grenfell team are always amazed by everyone’s perseverance, contribution and effort along with positivity and smiles!
This year’s walk had such a terrific turnout which even included a 4-generation family undertaking the walk, a feat hard to imagine possible.
Day 2 kicked off in Canowindra with the most incredible guard of honour created by the children of St Edwards Primary School as their teacher Mrs Clulow was taking part in the walk. The students cheered the walkers on as they set off for the 28km trek to Gooloogong.
