It was a great finish to the Summer tennis competitions last week with the two tournaments a huge success.
Wednesday night come and try tennis saw Glen McDonald and Matt Barker the A grade winners. The ever consistent Tina Earsman and newcomer to tennis Kim Whatman won the B grade competition in an epic final.
The Thursday night competition B grade final saw Mouse and Ness (subbed by Ash Wright and Jo Balcomb) defeat Kristy and Sarah.
In the A grade the minor premier’s Cass and Scott put up a great performance before going down to Rob and Simon. The match only decided in the last game. A great tennis exhibition. Hope everyone enjoys their cold miserable winter before bouncing back in the spring to Tennis.
