
Mr Andrew Gee, Federal Member for Calare will be mentoring Canowindra’s Claire Wright in the Ten4Ten Program.
The Ten4Ten Mentoring Program that local Canowindra High School Student, Claire Wright is participating in started last week in Orange.
The program kicked off with a dinner in Orange where a handful of community leaders met the Year 11 student they would be mentoring.
Throughout the program, a student is paired with a community leader to give them an insight into the community leader’s profession, while imparting any life lessons along the way.
Mr Andrew Gee, Federal Member for Calare will be mentoring, Claire Wright from Canowindra High School.
“It was great to hear all about her ambitions and school journey to date,” said Mr Gee.
“I look forward to working with Claire and sharing some stories about political life,” continued Mr Gee.
“She struck me as a strong person with all the makings of a future leader – so I reckon she can handle them,” concluded Mr Gee.
The Ten4Ten Program will also include for Claire a visit to NSW Parliament House in Sydney, where she will be hosted by the State Member for Orange, Phil Donato MP, a visit to Parliament House in Canberra, where she will be hosted by the Federal Member for Calare, Andrew Gee, MP, and attending a business Leaders Breakfast hosted by RDA Central West.
