Tee Off The Christmas Fun At The Canowindra Golf Club

16 December, 2021 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Canowindra Golf Club is pleased to be hosting their annual Christmas Party for members and guests on Saturday 18th December starting at 4pm.

“This year we have taken a different approach and organised a family activity that all ages can enjoy” said David Carman, President. There are many activities, fun races and giant games including Jenga, Dominoes, Drop Ball, Corn Throw and more that will keep everyone busy and ensure that they all celebrate our new found freedoms.

“Santa will be arriving and will be bringing everyone a surprise and kids will be encouraged to tell Santa their wishes. Cranbury Jam will begin playing – have a listen while you enjoy dinner and perhaps have a dance on the grass.”

The program of events is as follows:

4 – 5pm: Giant games, three legged races, sack races, balloon races, big people running race.

5pm: Santa arrives with a surprise for all

5.30pm – 6pm: More races and giant games.

6pm: BBQ begins and Chinese Restaurant opens.

6.30pm – 9.30pm: Cranbury Jam.

The giant Christmas raffle will be drawn late.

The course is spectacular at the moment having had upgrades on the greens, new flags, more than enough rain and lots of mowing. Please come along on any day and enjoy a game of golf by calling in and organising a game or by using the honesty box provided.

For further information contact the Canowindra Golf Club on 6344 1342.
