Swimming Club was well attended on Dec 4th, with some great performances proving that training pays off, and participation is key to success.
In the 100m backstroke PB’s were recorded by Julia Wright, Amber Johnson and Stewart Russell. Notable mentions in the 50m Butterfly go to Brooke Kinsela and Josie Clements. The 25m freestyle saw Wade Kinsela, Finlay Rowston and Paul Sinfield record sub-15 second times, whilst most improved were Mary Talbot and Laura Cox. Great swims in 25m Breaststroke
were made by Alex Flannery, Alexander Mitchell, Magnus Cleary and Toby Fisher, while good improvements were made in the 50m Breaststroke by Damon McKay, Mila Gower and Cameron Wheeler.
There are only two more meets before the Christmas break. All swimmers are encouraged to participate in the relay, as it is a fun way to end each Swimming Club meet. As usual, many thanks go to organisers, time keepers and helpers.
