Last Friday night saw the first of three weeks of championships for the 20-21 season. The night was well attended with many swimmers achieving personal best times. 24 records were broken!
The swimmers who accomplished these records for 200 metre freestyle were Eleanor Duguid, Lucy Neville, Hannah Gordon, Harry Duguid, Bella Gordon, Lachlan Sunderland, Rianna Reeves and Mitchell Stephens. For the 50 metre backstroke Lucy Neville, Lucinda Nash, Lachlan Rice, Bella Gordon, Rianna Reeves and Mitchell Stephens broke records. Lucy Neville, Reuben Cleary, Audrey Pearce, Harry Duguid and Mitchell Stephens broke records for 100 metre breaststroke, while Haylee Stanbury, Hannah Gordon, Lachlan Rice, Rianna Reeves and Mitchell Stephens broke records for 50 metre butterfly.
Congratulations to club swimmers who participated in the Catholic schools district carnival this week, including age champions Annie Pull, Lucy Atkinson, Campbell Arnott and Harper Watson.
