Head along to the Bowlo this weekend for the always popular Sunday Session.
Enormous Horns’ esteemed member Michael Wynne aka MTW shares his inspiring musical journey, marked by influences from legendary bands such as Boston, Journey, Foreigner, and Bryan Adams. Their exceptional vocal talents have been a constant source of inspiration, shaping his unique sound and style.
As a longtime member of the internationally renowned Enormous Horns, he has honed an impressive repertoire. Among his favourites are timeless classics like “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Summer of ’69,” “Hurts So Good,” and “Footloose.” These songs never fail to energize audiences, creating unforgettable sing-along moments.
Reflecting on his time with the band, he highlights the privilege of traveling the world while doing what he loves most—performing music. This journey has not only enriched his career but also deepened his passion for the art form.
His musical journey began at the age of nine with the violin, followed by participation in school musicals and bands. Post-graduation, he toured with his father’s band, “Flyer,” and later formed “Harbour Lights,” focusing on jazz performances in Sydney.
In 1997, he joined the Enormous Horns, and in 2014, became part of The Regulators. Recently relocating to Oberon, he embarked on a solo project in the Central West, leading to the creation of MTW.
With a career spanning 41 years, his love for music remains as vibrant as ever, promising more exciting performances and projects ahead.
We are excited to have Michael join us for the long weekend Sunday Session at the Bowlo from 4pm Sunday 8th June. This is a free community event.
