Last Thursday 32 eager little fish travelled to the Orange Aquatic Centre for the Southern Region Swimming Carnival. A huge congratulations to the students who did their school proud! Everyone arrived at the starting blocks with a smile and gave it their best shot.” One of the big achievements of the day was the four relay teams picking up 3rd place, Lachlan Rice coming 1st in the 50m freestyle and Ruby Arnott finishing 3rd in the junior girls 200m individual medley. Both Lachie and Ruby will progress to the Diocesan Carnival in Dubbo next Wednesday on 2nd March. Thank you to the parents who braved the heat and helped with transport, timekeeping and encouragement.
