St Eddie’s outstanding year 5/6 netball team!
It has been wonderful to return back to school for term two. Students returned with joyful smiles and a positive attitude towards their learning.
Our kindergarten students are flying along with their reading and number work. Our year 1/2 class have prepared a beautiful Mother’s Day liturgy which we are looking forward to attending on Friday, 7 May. Our year 3/4 boys have trained really well in preparation for their rugby league gala day, while the girls performed exceptionally well at the recent netball gala day in Cowra.
Numerous members of our stage two class have been acknowledged with their pen licences this term! Year 5/6 continue to lead our school through displaying a positive mindset to their schoolwork and extra-curricular activities.
Congratulations to our recent year 5/6 girls netball team who have been selected to go on to the next round of the state cup in netball, which will be held in Orange on 22 June. Outstanding achievement, girls!
Good luck to our year 5/6 boys in the upcoming rugby league and rugby union gala days. As we draw closer to Mother’s Day, we say a big thank you to all our mums and grandmothers who contribute to the wonderful opportunities our students have in our school.
