After much delay the D grade championship was finally underway. A match of youth and energy vs. age and treachery saw a close match between Sammy Austen and Sandy McDonald. The court coverage was phenomenal with fancy footwork throughout the game. Points remained close and excitement was high with it coming down to 5 points to seal the championship. Sammy Austen was the victor over Sandy McDonald wining 45-40. Sammy a new player this year demonstrated huge potential for his first season. There will be junior squash on Mondays at 4pm (Primary School Aged). No experience is needed just come along to have some fun.
