With membership around fifty plus, Squash popularity is soaring, so much so that we are contemplating a third night of play. We need names to play on Tuesdays; and Monday and Thursday will continue as before. The junior players are awesome! They just go from strength to strength, under Trevor (Butch) Simpson’s guidance, and I, for one, am kept on my toes to stay ahead of them, while I can. I just know they will have my measure soon.
Kassie had two close matches against Ryan 48-53, and Lucas 60-63. Ted just held out against Will 64-59. Jordan stopped Hamish 55-44, with sheer determination. Elsie Watson beat Holly Pull 28-22. Ryan downed Jordan 42-32. Claire took the match 47-43 against Bill. Will topped Aimie 59-57.
Come on up and try this great, all weather sport. You can feel it doing you good.
