Squash is Open for Everyone

6 January, 2014 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

After a well earned break for all our squash enthusiasts, the time has come to put your name down for the summer competition which will be commencing on Monday 3rd February for the Ladies Comp and Thursday 6th February for the Mixed Comp.

We would love to see some new faces join the club as well as some of our past players returning, so if you have thought about giving squash a go then please Contact Wendy Bowman 0427 450 474 for Ladies Monday night comp or Jonno Preston (0447 729 841) for Mixed Thursday Comp.

The Squash Club encourages players of all ages and abilities to join, so no matter how well or not so well you can play, just come along for some fun, laughter and watch your squash game and fitness improve over the weeks of competition.

There will be social Squash Thursday evening from 6.30 onwards. Social squash is great fun and anyone is welcome to just turn up and have a hit. Social squash is also a good chance for those of us who have indulged a little too much over the Christmas/ New year period to find our form again. I don’t like to mention names but I think “Treasure Adams” will need more than just social squash to get him back into form and shape…

If you have any questions about the Sum- mer comps or social squash you can call Jonno Preston (Our Friendly Court Captain). Looking forward to another challenging but very fun and social year of squash.

“Continuous effort– not strength or intelligence– is the key to unlocking our potential.”
