Southern Region Athletics Carnival

St Edwards Primary hosted the Southern Region Athletics Carnival in Canowindra on Friday 28th July. 340 students attended the event, including 26 students from St Edwards. The St Eddie’s P&F ran the canteen on the day which was a big success. Thank you to the parents and grandparents that helped on the day. Money raised will go straight back into the school.

Four students from St Edwards Primary were successful in progressing to the Diocesan Athletics Carnival which will be held in Dubbo on 18th August including: 

• Fergus Townsend 1st discus, 1st shot put

• Thomas Phelan 1st high jump, 2nd discus

• Sienna D’Anastasi 2nd 100m

• Claire Phelan: 1st shot put, 3rd discus
