Commonwealth Games Countdown: There is only 13 days to go until the Commonwealth Games kick off on the Gold Coast. There will be 71 Nations and Territories competing this year.

CTP Rebate: The NSW Government has reformed the compulsory third party (CTP) insurance scheme to reduce the costs of CTP Green Slips for vehicle owners and better support people injured on our roads. If you were the registered owner of a private vehicle as at midnight 30 November 2017, you may be able to claim a CTP Green Slip refund for insurance policies bought or renewed before 1 December 2017.

Seafood For Easter: Grab your seafood for Easter from Seafood Express. David will be in Canowindra on Wednesday 28th March from 8.30-11am with all your favourites including prawns, fish, oysters and calamari!

2018 Pig Push: Percy the Pig and his merry band of pushers are coming to Canowindra soon. The 200km road trip will leave Orange on Sunday 8th April and pass through Canowindra on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th April. Come say ‘hi’ and ‘bye’, meet Percy, have a pat and even feed him he loves cash and coins!

Canowindra Pre-School Kindergarten Inc AGM: The Pre-School held their AGM last week with a new committee formed for 2018. President Nadine Daly, Vice President Suzie Nash, Secretary Sharni Duguid and Treasurer Katy Henry. On the General Committee is Sarah Maynard, Jacinta McMullen, Dani Nicka, Kylie Parker, Ellen Downes and Ros Bullock.
