Canowindra SES: Are currently seeking new volunteers to join the SES and in particular the Canowindra branch. If you are interested check out the Facebook page NSW SES Canowindra Unit for more information.

The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence: Will be held this Friday 16 March. As bullying is an ongoing issue in schools and society, this day provides an opportunity to highlight antibullying procedures. To spread the very important message that bullying is never okay, Canowindra High School will be focusing on informing students on the impact of bullying and what they should do if they, or someone they know, is a victim to such behaviour. On Friday a mufti day will be held and students are encouraged to wear orange.

Parkes Aero Spectacular: Will be held on  Saturday 14th April from 10am to 4pm in Parkes. This is sure to be a fantastic family day out with aerobatic displays, RAAF Roulettes, aircraft tours, model aircraft displays and historic aircraft and helicopters to see. Diamond Jubilee: The Canowindra Pre-School Kindergarten Inc are celebrating 60 years of service in 2018. A Diamond Jubilee Ball will be held on Saturday 19th May at the Moorbel Hall.

Canowindra High School SRC: The Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2018 has been announced. Congratulations to the following students who have been voted in as the CHS SRC for 2018: Yr 7-Alexander Mitchell and Lilly Wakeling; Yr 8-William Harrison and Hayley Watson; Yr 9-Toby Besedic and Darcy Merchant; Yr 10-Hayden Cummings and Julia Wright; Yr 11-Hudson Izzard, Jamie Austin, Anika Macela and Georgia Cole; Yr 12-William Wright, Ashley Frost, Angus Fisher, Julia Stanley, Alana-Rose Cramer and Mackenzie Lazarou; and our ATSI (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Representative is Chanse McLean.
