Canowindra Swimming Pool: There will be a power outage on Sunday 11th March in Canowindra so the pool will be closed on this day. Also as of the 10th March the Canowindra Pools hours will change to 12-5pm and there will be no more hot food cooked after the 10th March. Last day for the season is Sunday 25th March 2018.
Moorbel Markets Are On Again: Moorbel Markets will be held on Saturday 3rd March commencing at 8.00am until 12 noon at the Moorbel Hall. Stallholders are local and regional people with a great range of affordable items including handmade knitted toys, baby wear and accessories, canvas printed photography, gift items, collectables, plants, soap, jewellery, jams, brica-brac and of course, lovely homemade cooking. A barbeque will provide sausage or rissole sandwiches and a cuppa with scones are also available to purchase at a minimal price. Make sure you visit the ladies on the Moorbel Hall Table where all sales processed go towards the upkeep of the Hall. For further details contact Warwick on 6344 2025.
Mt Canobolas Fire: Access to Mount Canobolas from the Mountain Teahouse to the summit remains closed until further notice following the recent bush fire on the mountain. Old Canobolas Road, from the start of the National Parks and Wildlife Service boundary to Mount Canobolas Road, will also remain closed until further advice is received to Cabonne Council.
Chewsday Kids Klub: Will be on at Orana House for children in Years 3-6, entry is by gold coin donation. Kids will sign in, change into old clothes, have afternoon tea, a story, craft session, and then home time 5.30pm after pack up.
