Moorbel Markets: Are on this Saturday 2nd December starting at 8am. Great gift ideas for Christmas with a wide range on offer. Many bargains to be found. This will be the last Moorbel Market for 2017 recommencing February 2018. The committee wish to thank the community for supporting the Markets throughout the year and wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday at Christmas. Cabonne Brings December Meeting Forward: Cabonne Council has brought its December meeting forward by a fortnight to avoid a clash with the Christmas holiday period. Next month’s meeting now will be held on Tuesday 12 December 2017, starting at 2pm. The Council’s Ordinary Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month however in December that falls on the Boxing Day public holiday. By moving the meeting forward by two weeks, the Council will be able to undertake business arising from the meeting before the Christmas-New Year holiday period begins.

Canowindra Garden Club: A big thank you to members of the Canowindra Garden Club for all their help and cooking skills in the very successful spring garden event at Noojee Lea despite the weather conditions, the Garden Club raised in excess of $6,000 for Canowindra Hospital.

Christmas Rocky Road: One of my favourite Christmas treats! Combine 250g white chocolate (melted), 1 cup chopped red frogs, 2 cups chopped marshmallows and ½ cup chopped pistachios. Spread into a lined baking tray and allow to set in the fridge before cutting.
