Central West Libraries: The Canowindra Library now has a new self-serve kiosk where you can borrow your books, dvds and audio books all by yourself. The Library also offers FREE wifi and is open Tuesday 2-5pm, Thursday 11am-1pm and 2-5pm, Friday 10am-1pm and 2-5pm and Saturday 10am-12pm. Of course the lovely Rossanne is still there to help you out and give the kiddies a stamp!
The Long Table Lunch: Canowindra Pre-School Kindergarten Inc is holding a fundraiser on Saturday 21 October at “Boridgeree”

Kokoda: Canowindra Services Club will hold a World Premiere Screening of the movie Kokoda…The Spirit Lives On, on Tuesday 29 August at 7pm at the Club. This is a FREE event showcasing a feature- length documentary commemorating the 75th anniversary of the WWII Kokoda campaign and exploring the spirit of Kokoda, then and now.
My Choice Matters: Will empower people living with disability in Central West NSW to get the most out of their lives and navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme at a free Get More Skills: A Good Life workshop in Canowindra on Thursday 7 September from 10am to 2.30pm at the Services Club. The NDIS will completely shift the way disability support is provided across Australia. People will have an opportunity to receive individualised support and funding, which is a significant change from the current system.
