NSW Businesses Remain Optimistic: Business confidence remained broadly positive despite moderating from the previous quarter, according to the lat- est Business Conditions Survey, which is conducted by the state’s peak business organisation, the NSW Business Cham- ber. “Our survey of more than 1,000 NSW businesses shows that businesses remain confident about their business prospects as demonstrated by continued strength in staffing and capital expenditure decisions”, said Western NSW Business Chamber Regional Manager, Vicki Seccombe. “The NSW Business Chamber welcomes the recently announced review of the GST distri- bution system to ensure that our State isn’t punished for pursuing economic reform.
