Last Saturday 11 July, the Canowindra RSL sub-Branch held a service in Memorial Park to commemorate the end of Australia’s involvement in the Middle East Area of Operations, (Afghanistan and Iraq). Get Set To Swap
On Sunday, 2 August Canowindra Pony Club will be hosting their annual Swap Meet at the Canowindra Showground to raise much needed funds for their club. Gates will open from 5:30am – 6am for swappers and at 7am for the public, with an entry fee of $5. Organisers have predicted a successful turnout this year, with a large number of swappers expected to be present with an extraordinary array of treasures on offer. 30 Years Of National Tree Day
Planet Ark’s National Tree Day started in 1996 and over the past 30 years has grown into Australia’s largest community tree planting and nature care event.
