Mobile service centres are 20 tonne trucks operated by staff from Services Australia, providing regional and rural Australians with friendly face-to-face services and tailored support.

Golden Wattle Is Rolling Into Town: Ser­vices Australia’s Mobile Service Centre Golden Wattle will be visiting Canowindra on Monday 9 March, near Memorial Park on Gaskill Street, 9:30am to 4pm. The mobile service centre will be offering the community easy access to Medicare and Centrelink services and can provide infor­mation about the National Disability Insur­ance Scheme and Department of Veterans’ Affairs services. World Day of Prayer: World Day of Prayer will be held at Canowindra St Edwards Catholic Church on Friday 6th March 2026 at 11am. Focus country is Nigeria. A light lunch will follow the service. All welcome. Further details please contact Deb 0487 801 767.

Little Fishes At The Museum: This month, Little Fishes will dive into the won­derful world of liquids! Children of all ages can explore a range of hands‑on, curiosi­ty‑building activities. Head along to the Age of Fishes Museum this Friday, 6 March from 11am – 11.30am. There is no charge, and entry to the Museum is also free. No need to book – just turn up and enjoy the learning experience.

Small Change – Big Difference: The team at Canowindra Connections Centre are in­viting local residents to spend just $10 a week at Food Basket to help build commu­nity. Food Basket at Canowindra Connec­tions Centre isn’t just about affordable gro­ceries, it is about dignity and connection, and making sure no one in our community feels alone or unsupported. Food Basket is open Thursday morning and afternoon and Friday mornings – everyone welcome.

CRAG Exhibition Opening: Cowra Re­gional Art Gallery invites you to the open­ing of Olive Cotton and her contemporaries on Friday 13 March, 6pm to 8pm. Guest Speakers will be Shaune Lakin, National Gallery of Australia Senior Curator, Pho­tography and Sally McInerney, Photogra­pher. Admission free. This National Gallery Touring Exhibition will run from 14 March to 10 May 2026.

Chamber Philharmonia Cologne Plays Vivaldi, Mozart and Handel: Don’t miss this world class performance in Canowindra this Saturday March 7 at All Saints Church, 7pm.
