Canowindra RSL Sub-Branch: 26 Febru­ary 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of Na­tional Service in Australia. National service commenced in 1951 driven by Australia’s commitment to the Korean War. After a break, National Service recommenced in line with Australia’s commitment to the War in Vietnam. Whether willing or reluctantly, many local men would have been called up to fulfil their nations call. To help mark this anniversary, all national service men are in­vited to come along and join Canowindra’s RSL sub-Branch for coffee at Perennialle Plants on Thursday 5 February from 10am.

Meeting Change For Canowindra@home: The Canowindra@home group will be trialling a change of day and venue for their meetings. The group will now meet on the second Wednesday of the month at the Canowindra Bowling Club at 6pm.

LAND – Artists On The Land Of Three Rivers: An exhibition of eight celebrated Australian artists, who examined their re­sponse to the atmosphere of place. De­veloped following a 2025 residency at The Corridor Project on Wiradjuri Country, the exhibition arises from direct, embodied ex­perience: tracing geology, weather, mem­ory and cultural histories through abstrac­tion and material experimentation. You can view the exhibition at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery from 6 February to 8 March.
