Enjoy some festive cheers at the final Sunday Session of 2025.

Christmas Session: The Bowlo will be holding their end of year Christmas cele­brations on 21 December, with the Guilty Dogs and friends performing their favourite Christmas tunes. Enjoy all the usual bells and whistles of a Sunday Session at The Bowlo, with raffles, kid’s art table and food available. Of course there will also be a visit from Santa, so be on your best behaviour!

Applications Open for Newmont Or­ange360 Regional Tourism Event Fund: Newmont in partnership with Orange360, has launched the Regional Tourism Event Fund to strengthen the visitor economy. The fund supports events that diversify the calendar and build on the success of local festivals across the Blayney, Cabonne, and Orange LGAs. Applications for FY25/26 are now open. Colouring Competition Winners: Con­gratulations to everyone who submit­ted an entry in our Canowindra Phoenix Christmas colouring competition. The lucky winners were Nate, Kyah Smith, Kayden Smith, Scout, Henry Carpenter, Alfie Car­penter, Ada Carpenter and Evie Carpenter.

Cabonne Pools Christmas Break: Ca­bonne pools will be closed on Christmas Day but open every other day during stand­ard operating hours. To check the opening times for your local pool, visit https://www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au/Recreation/Swimming-Pools

Bingo: The Canowindra Services Club Bingo last day will be 16 December re­turning the 13 January, 2026. Canowindra Bowling Club Bingo finished for the year on 11 December and will return 15 January, 2026.

Double Demerits: Double demerit points will be in force for 12 consecutive days over the Christmas and New Year period to improve road safety during the holiday season. Double demerit points will run from Wednesday 24 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026, inclusive for all speeding, seatbelt, motorcycle helmet and mobile phone offences. Stay safe these holidays.

Foodbasket will be closed during the Christmas holidays.
